There's two wires, a power and a ground, so it's fairly simple. You just need to decide what you want to tap in to and find a mounting location. I asked Jeff to get me the marker lights in a white LED so I could use them as back up indicators, instead of turn signals or markers. They are slightly more expensive in white (as most LED's are), but not much. I cut 2 3/4" holes in the 3.5" panel that is directly below the tailgate and above the bumper. I figure with the recessed lights, they should be MOSTLY out of harms way there. Then I fished the wiring over to either outboard side and out the access hole in that boxed section. From there, it was a matter of finding the reverse lighting wires and a spot for ground. Here's the pics: Off: ![]() On: ![]() The daytime pic does little justice, but these are definitely bright enough for reverse indicators. __________________ http://www.nmoffroad.com/ Raising money for Leukemia & Lymphoma Follow me on Twitter |
